The Story
A handwoven wool tote in a classic Oaxacan serape stripe — deep indigo, teal, cochineal red, marigold, and cream — finished with genuine tan leather straps. Woven on the same walking-pedal loom as our rugs.

Every colour in this piece begins as a plant, a mineral or an insect, prepared in the workshop before the first thread reaches the loom.
- 100% Merino Wool with genuine leather straps
- Cochineal
- A scale insect raised on nopal cactus, ground and mixed with lime or lemon to move from deep crimson to soft rose.
- Indigo
- Fermented añil leaves, dipped and oxidised in air until the blue deepens with each bath.
- Marigold
- Pericón blossoms, boiled to yield warm golds and, over indigo, soft greens.
